This Privacy Policy describes how Story Narrator AI (the "App") handles information when you install and use it on a Windows device, including distribution through the Microsoft Store where applicable.

1. Summary

Story Narrator AI turns text you provide into spoken audio on your Windows PC using on-device speech synthesis (including neural and system voices) and related playback features described in our product materials. The App is not intended to operate as a cloud service that uploads your text or audio to our servers for the core narration workflow.

2. Information the App processes locally

Depending on features you use, the App may process on your device:

• Text you write, paste, or load for narration
• Audio output produced from that text (playback and exported files you choose to save)
• Voice, style, ambience, and playback preferences you select in the App
• Optional local caches or project data under your Windows user profile (for example recent sessions or performance-related data)

We do not use this information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. Data we do not intend to collect

The App is not intended to collect unrelated sensitive categories such as passwords for other services, keystrokes outside the App's text fields, or contacts from your PC beyond what you explicitly paste or provide.

4. Internet connectivity and optional features

Some versions of the App may require internet connectivity for licensing, updates, or optional model downloads. If we introduce optional online features (for example cloud sync or analytics), we will describe them in this policy and in product materials, and provide controls where feasible.

5. Microsoft Store and Windows

If you obtain the App through the Microsoft Store, Microsoft may process certain information according to Microsoft's privacy policy and Store terms. Our App does not control Microsoft's practices.

6. Children's privacy

The App may be used in family settings; parents and guardians should supervise use by children. The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region) to sign up for accounts inside the App. If you believe we have received personal information from a child in error, contact us using the email above.

7. Security

No method of storage is 100% secure. Because processing is primarily on-device, your device security (accounts, disk encryption, malware protection) matters. Review exported audio or text before sharing files outside your PC.

8. Your choices

You may uninstall the App using Windows' standard uninstall flow. You may delete local project or cache files stored under your user profile if you no longer want them on disk.

9. International users

If you contact us by email, your message may be processed according to normal email provider practices.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when updates are posted.
