Prompt to Picture AI ("the app") is a Windows desktop application that generates images from text descriptions using an AI model that runs on your device.

Summary

Your prompts and generated images stay on your PC. Prompt to Picture AI creates images locally and does not upload them for generation. There is no account, no telemetry, and no advertising.

Information we collect

We do not collect, receive, or store any personal information or user content. The app has no sign-up, sign-in, licence activation, or user profile. It does not send usage data, crash reports, or analytics anywhere.

Data stored locally on your device

The following stays on your computer and is never transmitted to us:

• Application settings stored in standard Windows application settings.
• Application data folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\PromptToPictureAI\:
  • local diagnostic logs (prompt text excluded by default)
  • the gallery database and generated images
  • the AI model package

Prompt text is excluded from diagnostic logs by default. Including it is an explicit opt-in setting ("Include prompt text in local diagnostic logs"). Logs stay on your device either way; generated image content is never written to logs. You can clear cache and history from Settings, delete images from the gallery, delete the model package, or remove all data by uninstalling the app.

Network use (one-time model download)

The only outbound network requests are downloading the AI model package you choose and optional checks for model updates. The model is fetched from its published source repositories (for example Hugging Face). No prompts, generated images, personal data, or account identifiers are transmitted during generation or normal use.

Generation works offline after the AI model has been downloaded. An internet connection is required once for the initial model download.

Prompt safety

The app may screen prompts locally for clearly prohibited categories. Any such screening runs on your device; prompts are never sent to a remote moderation service.

Payment

If you purchase through the Microsoft Store, Microsoft processes payment and holds the transaction record. We do not receive, see, or store payment details. Microsoft's own privacy terms cover that part of the transaction.

Children's privacy

The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Data retention and your choices

Because all data is stored locally, you are in full control. Uninstalling the app and/or deleting %LOCALAPPDATA%\PromptToPictureAI\ removes your settings, logs, gallery, cached models, and generated images. We retain nothing on our side.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
