GifLight stamps dates and captions onto photos you choose and exports a looping GIF or mute MP4 on your device. It is built so that your pictures never leave your phone.
What we collect
Nothing. GifLight does not collect personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising SDK. We don't run a server that the app talks to.
Your photos
- Photos you pick are read only through Android's photo picker. GifLight can only open the files you select.
- Stamping and export happen entirely on your device. Stamped outputs are written to your gallery through MediaStore. Media never leaves your phone through this app. Your originals are never modified.
Purchases
If you buy Pro, Google Play processes the payment. Payments, subscriptions and refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. GifLight only receives whether your Google account owns the product. It never sees your payment details.
Permissions
GifLight does not request storage, camera, microphone or location permission.
Children
GifLight isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect any information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
