Datelight adds date, time, text and emoji stamps to photos and videos. It is built so that your pictures never leave your phone.
What we collect
Nothing. Datelight has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. We don't run a server that the app talks to.
Your photos and videos
- You choose files with Android's system photo picker. Datelight can only open the files you select.
- Stamping happens entirely on your device. The stamped copy is saved to Pictures/Datelight or Movies/Datelight on your phone. Your originals are never modified.
- Camera information already in a photo (for example the capture date, camera model or GPS location written by your camera) is copied into the stamped copy so it stays with the picture. Datelight doesn't read, store or send it anywhere else.
Purchases
Datelight Pro is sold through Google Play. Payments, subscriptions and refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. Datelight only asks Google Play whether your account owns Pro. It never sees your payment details.
Settings stored on your device
Your last-used stamp style and whether you own Pro are saved in the app's private storage on your phone so the app works offline. Uninstalling Datelight deletes them.
Children
Datelight isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect any information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
