This Privacy Policy describes how Bulk Photo Watermark & EXIF Eraser ("the App", "we", "our") handles user data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about our data practices.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, telemetry, or diagnostics of any kind. There are no user accounts, no sign-in requirements, and no registration.

Image Processing

All image processing — including metadata removal and watermark application — is performed entirely locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or external system. No internet connection is required to use the App. The App reads image files solely from locations you specify and writes processed output files solely to the output directory you select. No copies of your images are retained by the App outside of the output directory you choose.

Metadata Removal

When you use the metadata removal feature, the following data types are permanently stripped from processed images: EXIF data (camera settings, GPS coordinates, timestamps, device information), ICC color profiles, IPTC metadata, XMP metadata, Photoshop embedded data, and TIFF-specific tags. This removal is irreversible in the output file. Original source files are not modified.

Local Storage

The App stores a single user preference locally on your device using the Windows registry (via QSettings): the last-used output directory path. This setting is stored locally and is never transmitted externally. No other data is persisted between sessions.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with, connect to, or transmit data to any third-party services, APIs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or cloud infrastructure. The App functions entirely offline.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any data from any users, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected whatsoever, the App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations.

Cookies and Tracking

The App does not use cookies, tracking pixels, device fingerprinting, or any other tracking technologies.

Data Security

Since the App does not collect, transmit, or store any user data externally, there is no risk of data breach from our side. All processing occurs locally on your device, and the security of your files depends on your own device security practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
