Summary

Bulk File Renamer does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Your files are renamed on your own computer and never uploaded.

What the app does with your files

• Files you add are listed from folders you choose. The app reads their names, sizes and dates, and for photos and videos the capture date stored inside the file, to build the preview.
• Thumbnails of photos are created in memory for the list and are not saved.
• Renaming changes only file names, in the same folder. File contents are never opened for writing.
• Rename history (the old and new name and folder of each renamed file) is saved in your Windows user profile so that you can undo later. You can delete it at any time under History → Clear history. Uninstalling the app removes it.
• Preferences such as your last steps, presets, sort order and window size are stored in your Windows user profile.

What the app does not do

• No account, sign-in or registration.
• No internet connection: no online features, update checks, analytics, crash reporting, advertising or telemetry.
• No access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location.

Purchases

The Microsoft Store handles purchases and licensing. We do not receive your payment details.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version changes any of this, we will update this policy before that version is released.
